As an entity with delegated powers of the National Statistical Institute for the production and dissemination of official statistics in the area of justice, the Directorate General for Justice Policy follows the Dissemination Policy of that Institute, whose main reference is the principles of technical independence, statistical confidentiality, quality and accessibility, which are structuring principles of the National Statistical System.
In accordance with provision 15, Chapter B of the Dissemination Policy, prior access,
under embargo, to official statistical data on crimes recorded by the police authorities is granted to the Secretary General of the Internal Security System for the preparation of the Annual Internal Security Report. For the purpose of preparing specific contents of the same report, prior access to the official statistical information on crimes related to trafficking in human beings is also granted,
under embargo, to the National Rapporteur of the Observatory on Trafficking in Human Beings.
